Terms & Conditions

The rules we work by, written the way we would explain them at the counter. Read them before you pay, not after.

Last updated 1 September 2026 Applies to all students and website visitors Read together with our Privacy Policy

The short version

  • Your admission is confirmed when the form is complete, the fee is paid, and you hold a receipt with your enrollment number.
  • The fee agreed for your course does not increase while you are studying it.
  • We promise honest teaching, one computer per student, and a certificate anyone can verify. We do not promise a job.
  • Once your classes have started, a refund is not initiated. Cancelling before that follows our Refund Policy.

This summary is here to save you time. The sections below are the policy itself.

What these terms cover

These terms are the agreement between you and IICT Computer Institute. They apply when you enrol in a course, when a parent or guardian enrols a student, and when you use this website.

By filling an admission form, paying a fee, or continuing to use this website, you accept them. If something here does not suit you, please tell us before you pay rather than afterwards.

They are read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your information.

Read the Privacy Policy

Who can enrol

  • Anyone who can attend classes at one of our campuses may enrol, subject to seats being free in the batch you want.
  • A student under eighteen is enrolled by a parent or guardian, who signs the form and accepts these terms on behalf of the student.
  • Some courses are examined by an outside body which sets its own eligibility. Where its rule is stricter than ours, its rule applies.
  • Everything on your admission form must be true, and your name and date of birth must match your identity document, because your certificate is printed from them.

A wrong spelling or date found after the certificate is printed means the certificate has to be revoked and reissued. Please check the form before you sign it.

When your admission is confirmed

Your admission is confirmed at the moment three things are true: the form is complete, the fee due at admission is paid, and you are holding a receipt with your enrollment number on it.

  • A verbal assurance, a chat message, or a name written in a register is not an admission.
  • Seats in a batch are given in the order admissions are confirmed.
  • If we cannot give you the batch or timing you asked for, we will tell you before you pay, not after.

Fees

We do not print fees on this website, so the fee for your course is the one we tell you before you pay. Ask for it, and ask what it includes.

  • Once agreed, it holds - the fee agreed for your course does not increase while you are studying that course, even if we revise fees for new admissions.
  • Receipts - every payment is given a receipt. Please keep it. If you were not handed one, ask before you leave the counter.
  • Instalments - where we have agreed instalments, the dates agreed are the dates due. Tell us in advance if a date will be difficult, because that is easier to solve early.
  • Examination fees - where an outside body charges an examination or registration fee, it is separate from our course fee unless we have told you it is included.
  • How to pay - pay at the campus counter or through a channel we have told you about. We will never ask you to send a fee to a personal UPI number over chat.

If fees stay unpaid past an agreed date, we may hold back classes, examination registration or the certificate until the dues are cleared. We will speak to you before doing that.

Refunds and cancellation

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy. The main rule there is short: once the classes of your batch have started, a refund is not initiated. Please read that page before you pay.

Two things are true whatever that policy says. If we cancel a batch and cannot offer you a reasonable alternative, you do not lose the fee for the part of the course we did not teach. And if you choose to leave a course, your refund follows the written Refund Policy, not a figure promised verbally.

Read the Refund Policy

Batches, timings and attendance

  • Your batch and timing are fixed at admission. Changing later depends on seats being free in the batch you want.
  • Attendance matters. Practical subjects cannot be caught up by reading, and a certificate is meant to mean something.
  • If you stop attending for a long period without telling us, we may place you in a later batch when you return, so that you are not sitting in a class that has moved on.
  • We may reschedule or merge classes for holidays, examinations, or genuine staff absence, and we will tell you in advance wherever we can.

Where a course needs a minimum attendance before the certificate is issued, we treat that as 75 per cent. If a particular course is stricter, we will tell you at admission.

The lab, the computers and study material

  • One student, one computer, for the whole class. That is our rule and you may hold us to it.
  • Notes and study material we give you are for your own learning. Please do not copy, sell or publish them.
  • Please do not install software, change system settings, or connect storage devices to a lab computer without asking the trainer.
  • Damage caused deliberately or by clear carelessness is chargeable at cost. Ordinary wear and tear is ours to deal with, not yours.
  • Keep phones silent in class, and do not photograph other students without their permission.

Examinations, results and certificates

  • Your certificate is issued once the course is complete, the required attendance is met, and all dues are cleared.
  • For courses examined by an outside body, that body sets the syllabus, the examination dates and the result. We cannot change a result it declares.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by an outside body, although we will follow them up on your behalf.
  • A duplicate certificate can be issued on request, and a printing charge may apply.
  • A certificate obtained on false information can be revoked. Anyone holding the number will then see that it has been revoked, which is exactly why verification exists.

How we expect people to behave

School students, working adults and women study at our campuses together. Everyone gets to feel comfortable here.

  • Behave respectfully with the staff and with other students.
  • Ragging, harassment, threats, cheating in an examination, or damaging equipment are grounds for ending an admission.
  • Do not bring anything unsafe or unlawful into a campus.
  • If someone makes you uncomfortable, tell the campus manager or the head office. We would much rather hear it early.

If we end an admission for misconduct, any refund is decided under our Refund Policy, and we will give you the reason in writing.

Using this website

  • The text, photographs, course material and logo on this website belong to the institute and to SKL Education Welfare Society (Regd. under Act 1860). Please do not copy them for another institute or business.
  • You may print or save pages for your own use.
  • Please do not use automated tools to collect data from this website, and do not attempt to break, overload or probe it.
  • Forms on this website must be filled with true details. An enquiry sent under a false name uses up a phone call that another student needed.

The certificate verification page

  • It is there for genuine checks by an employer, a college, or the student. Please use it that way.
  • Automated or bulk attempts to work through certificate numbers are not allowed. Attempts are limited and logged.
  • A result of not found usually means a typing mistake, a different number format, or a certificate issued before our records were computerised. Please call the campus before concluding anything about a person.

Services we do not run

This website links to WhatsApp, Google Maps and the websites of examination bodies, and an electronic payment passes through your bank or a payment app. Those services have their own terms and their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them.

How we contact you

  • We contact you by phone, by WhatsApp, and by notices at the campus. Important dates also go on the notice board.
  • A message sent to the number on your admission form counts as delivered to you, so please keep that number current with us.
  • If you change your number, tell the campus. A missed examination date because of an old number is an avoidable loss.

What we promise, and what we do not

We would rather be plain about this than let anyone enrol on a hope we cannot deliver.

  • We promise - classroom teaching by a trainer, one computer per student, the syllabus we described to you, and a certificate anyone can verify.
  • We do not promise - a job, a placement, a salary, an examination result, or admission to any college. No honest institute can promise those.
  • Course details - durations, syllabus and timings shown on this website are kept as accurate as we can, and may change. What you are told at admission is what applies to you.

Limits of our liability

  • Please look after your belongings. We cannot take responsibility for money, phones or vehicles left at a campus.
  • We are not liable for indirect losses, such as a lost job opportunity or a missed college date, arising from a course or an examination result.
  • Nothing in these terms removes a liability that the law does not allow us to remove, including liability for injury caused by our own negligence.

When an admission can end

  • You may leave a course at any time. Please tell the campus, so that your record and your dues are closed properly.
  • We may end an admission for false information on the form, for fees left unpaid after we have spoken to you, or for misconduct.
  • Wherever we can, we will tell you in writing first and give you a chance to put it right.

Changes to these terms

We update these terms when our practice changes or when the law changes. The date at the top of this page is the date of the version you are reading.

If a change is significant, we will put a notice on this website and on the notice board at each campus. Continuing to attend classes or use this website after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of them is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.

Ask us

Not sure how a rule applies to you? Ask before you enrol.

Come to the head office, call, or send a message. We would much rather explain a rule in two minutes than have you discover it later.

These terms are read together with our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.
